OSCAR SEWARD, more commonly known as Oscar S is a Swedish-born Producer, DJ, remixer and songwriter from Gothenburg, Sweden.

 

Producing since he was 16, Seward started working with rappers around the London area and gradually progressed into electronic music and the club scene. His musical taste is on a wide spectrum varying from Dub/Reggae to Deep/Tech/Progressive House to Hip-Hop/Trap and Trance. However as an artist, Oscar S is known for his own creation, Xylo House.
 

XYLO HOUSE is a genre Seward came up with towards the end of 2013. It’s a complex hybrid/love child of old school Chicago House, Deep House, UK Garage and Swedish House. Oscar S has a couple of remixes, which are due to release soon where he has used his Xylo House trademark. So far, the singers he has been remixing have been enjoying the Xylo reworks of their originals.

Aside from spending time in the studio, Seward DJs on a regular basis. Oscar S has been mixing for two years and has played all around London at underground and mainstream clubs such as The Nest, EGG LDN, XOYO, Pacha and Ministry of Sound, where he has supported DJ’s like Norman Doray, Sander Kleinenburg, the late Frankie Knuckles, UMEK, Uto Karem, Hector Couto, Tapesh, Josh Butler and Digitaria. Currently he is the official DJ for female rapper Mercedes and is also a scratch DJ for various Hip-Hop artists like rapper Shem.

With many remixes under his belt, as well as a number of artists he has ghost produced for, now is the time for Oscar S to be a name to be remembered amongst the house scene.
